How To Hide Private Files Behind The Image - Cool Trick

Today protecting the special or private documents or some important files from others have many types of tricks. Let suppose there are some important special documents or some important files that you doesn’t to show them with others or you want to hide from them in your computer.

For doing this First you might create folder inside folder to hide your documents or such files but in today’s tutorial we have shared with you a very interesting and cool trick to hide files behind images. So trick is that when we hide a file behind an image means that if one opens that image file he will see only the image not the document, but to see the hidden files behind the image we need to open that image in another or specific way. We will use this trick using command prompt (cmd). This trick is very simple and so easy to use. So without wasting much time let’s start the trick...

To Hide Private Files Behind The Image?

1. Select an image which you want to use for hiding the files behind into the image.
2. Now, select a file which you want to hide behind the image. (Note: - The File which you want to hide should be in .rar format. If you have not it in rar then create it with the help of the WinRAR or any other compression tool. (Recommended WinRAR)).
3. Now Copy and Paste both the files on your Desktop. You may do this anywhere in any drive instead of desktop if you have some basic or good understanding of command line.
4. Now Go to Start > Accessories > Command Prompt (or you can do by Opening Run, then type cmd in it and hit enter.). Command Prompt (cmd) will be opened.
5. After Opening the cmd type “cd desktop” command in it. And Hit Enter (Note:- type the command without using the double quotes (“”)).
6. Now type another command -:                                                                                  Copy /b  imagename.jpg + filename.rar   final_new_file_name.jpg
7. Now replace these things:-

• Replace imagename.jpg with the name of the image you are using to hide the file behind it. Don't forget to add image format (Ex: .jpg, .png, .gif) (Extension of image can be differ).
• Replace filename.rar with name of your file you want to hide. It must be in .rar format.
• Finally replace final_new_file_name.jpg. With whatever name you want give your final new image with hidden files behind it. This is the image where your file will be hidden. (Extension of taken image is important for the final_new_file_name).

     8.  Now, when you will open this newly created image file, it will opened as your chosen normal       image. Hurray!! You have hidden your important files.
 How To Access Hidden File?

To access your hidden file you need to open that newly created image file in WinRAR. Just follow simple steps given below to do that.

1. Open WinRAR.
2. Now locate your image and open it or simply drag your image in winrar.
3. Extract the file and done.

OR

1. Right click on that newly create file.
2. Select ‘Open With’ option from right click menu.
3. Select the WinRAR option in it.

Reference for the Command Used:-  
cd stands for change directory by typing the ‘cd desktop’ command you have changed your directory to desktop.
